Bunny Cake Competition
In March 2020, we've held our first Bunny Cake competition that allowed families to get closer and experience some baking creativity while fighting through Covid-19.
We have created a kit that offered not only the chance to create a delicious chocolate-frosted bunny cake, but also show off our customers' skills! Below are our 3 winners that were got gift cards for their beautiful and delicious bunnies.
Mardi Gras Celebration
In March 2019, Cafe Du Pain Bakery brought Mardi Gras to Lawrence Township. As one of the most celebrated events around the world, we celebrated with with a range of creole food, music, dance and magical regalia. We honor the occasion with our very own version of King Cakes, New Orleans beignets and all things Creole.
Coffee with a Cop
Cafe Du Pain Bakery and our amazing Lawrence Township Police Dept gathered with friends and families to celebrate our community together - and of course, with delicious coffee and pastries.
First Anniversary, Caribbean Pastry Festival
We hosted our First Caribbean Pastry Festival to celebrate an important milestone with friends, families, and neighbors.
The yummy food included Cuban & Haitian pastries, King Cake, Beignets, Gumbo, Caribbean spice hot chocolate, tropical cocktails and much, much more. Additionally, there were activities for the kids, entertainment and a door prize, Cafe du Pain is your official passport to delicious fun, food and friendship!
"Autumn Harvest" Cake Decorating Class
We captured all the bounty of fall in this seasonally scheduled class that covered working with fondant, American buttercream, piping techniques and tips that will helped create your own amazing designs just in time for the holidays!
Music Brunch Performance from Lawrence Middle School Music Students
On Feb. 9 , 2019, Cafe Du Pain Bakery hosted a fundraiser for The Lawrence Middle School Music Department and their talented students. The talented LMS students performed for customers while enjoying a delicious pastry brunch and, of course, our superior La Colombe coffee.
10-15% of your purchase went to support the music important program to nurture the talent of the students.
Epicuan Palletes at Grounds for Sculpture
On September 2019, Cafe Du Pain Bakery participated in the region's premier food and wine event, Epicuan Palettes to support the exhibitions and educational initiatives at Grounds For Sculpture.
